mr. pizza - koreatown

I've been spending quite a lot of time in Koreatown these days. Despite the angry traffic and the crazy drivers,  I really love Ktown; mostly for their endless cafes and all the good food that they have to offer. I always come home with a full stomach and plenty of pictures when I come back from LA :)

I fell in love with Mr. Pizza ever since my first visit. I'm not a big fan of pizza, but this place is pretty amazing. Mr. Pizza opened up in Koreatown after its popularity rose in Korea. Mr. Pizza is italian + american + korean. It is not your typical pizza parlor but instead adds a twist of Korean here and there. They are known for potato gold, which is a type of pizza with sweet potato filling in the crust, and they have interesting selections such as bulgogi pizza, shrimp nude( cream cheese filling in crust), and etc.

I personally am a big fan of their salad bar because they have a lot of different options you can choose from, and fruit and yogurt with cereal and different toppings are included in the salad bar as well. Their complimentary breadsticks are absolutely delicious, and recently, they added apple butter to spread on the bread so its double the yumminess. Out of the pastas, I definitely recommend the mushroom ravioli and the chipotle linguini.

These are some pictures taken from different visits.

 -potato skins

-chicken parmesan

-seafood jambalaya ( i forgot the full name -_- )

 - the famous sweet potato gold

 -shrimp nude ( my favorite!)

-mushroom ravioli + part of my salad

-chipotle linguini

perfect for a girls night out or a dinner date. It is cute and modern and surprisingly, there are a lot of non koreans that dine here as well, and majority of the servers speak fluent English. They charge $0.75 for an extra side of sweet pickles and peppercinis, but its okay.. life isn't always fair :)
